BIHARSHARIF: A four-year-old boy named Shubham Kumar accidentally fell into a borewell in Kool village in Bihar's Nalanda on Sunday morning. A rescue operation is under way to save the child.
Nalanda public relations officer (DPRO) said officials from the district disaster management branch, led by Krishna Kumar Upadhyay, are supervising the rescue efforts along with regional officers and police personnel.

He said the area has been cordoned off to ensure the safety and efficiency of the rescue operation. Medical teams equipped with oxygen facilities are also present at the location to provide immediate medical aid to the child.

The official added that the excavation process to retrieve the child is being cautiously executed, with the help of advanced equipment and expertise from the NDRF and SDRF teams that were promptly dispatched from Patna. The teams are working tirelessly to ensure that the child is brought to the surface safely and without any harm.
The local community has also joined hands in supporting the rescue mission, extending their heartfelt wishes for the child's well-being.
As the rescue operation continues, the authorities are urging people to remain patient and allow the expert teams to carry out their work without obstruction. Every possible measure is being taken to ensure the child's safe retrieval from the borewell.
